Erikssonwood is a Swedish forestry and arborist business out of Hällefors — tree felling, advanced (CPT-certified) felling, stump grinding, PEFC-certified forest management, hedge trimming, and clearing. The real work happens with a chainsaw and a truck, not a keyboard. That shaped everything about how we built their site.
A different job than e-commerce
There’s no online checkout here, and there shouldn’t be. Nobody buys a day of tree felling through a shopping cart. The deals start with a phone call and a free on-site inspection.
So the website has a narrow but critical job: be found, and be believed. A homeowner or landowner searching for someone to take down a risky tree looks you up first. If you’re invisible or look unconvincing, the call never happens.
Build for credibility, then for search
We built the site and handled the SEO together, because for this kind of business they’re the same problem.
- Credibility first. Clear service descriptions, the certifications that actually matter (CPT, PEFC), insurance, RUT deductions for residential work, and a transparent step-by-step process from first contact to finished job. A nervous customer needs to feel they’re hiring professionals before they pick up the phone.
- Then findability. Fast-loading pages, clean structure, and local SEO so the firm shows up across Hällefors, Nora, Örebro, Karlstad and the surrounding areas they actually serve. A regional trade lives or dies on local search.
No e-commerce theatre, no features for their own sake. Just a fast, clear, findable presence that matches how the business really works.
Why “boring” is the right answer
For a traditional trade, the temptation is to over-build — booking systems, dashboards, gadgets nobody asked for. The honest answer was a focused, well-structured site that turns a search into a phone call. That’s the whole funnel for this business, and getting it right is worth more than any clever feature.
This is the kind of work we do — websites and digital visibility for real European businesses, built to fit how each one actually operates. If that’s what you need, let’s talk.
